For a test site, this isn't too bad of a start at all. For now this will be a little playground where I get to screw around with my HTML and CSS skills, but eventually this will evolve into a whole themed personal website. The buttons, while having a hover effect, do not actually have any functionality (yet). Check out my Twitter!
This site takes inspiration from Windows' Aero design (particularly Vista for me), and will eventually try to mimic site layouts that were common in the late 2000s, mainly from '07 to '09. Websites in that era were simplistic, but also had a certain beauty to them. I'm still a novice when it comes to CSS styling in particular, but working on this site will hopefully teach me a few things along the way.
(You probably didn't notice, but this site uses Segoe UI as the font - the same one that windows uses in its UI!)
